The Super 8 wedding camera rental that doesn't stop at the camera

Rent a Super 8 body from a camera shop and you're still on the hook for buying film, finding a lab, and cutting it into something watchable. Book with us and the kit that ships to your door already includes the film, the lab processing, and the edit.

How it works

1

Book your date

Tell us your wedding date and we confirm availability. One wedding per weekend, so the camera is reserved just for you.

2

The kit ships loaded and ready

4-5 days before your wedding, a Super 8 camera loaded with film arrives in a hard case, along with a shot-list guide and a quick video tutorial.

3

Your guests shoot the weekend

Hand it around all night. No filmmaking experience needed — if they can point and press a button, they're qualified.

4

Ship it back, prepaid

Everything goes back in the case with the return label already inside. Drop it at any UPS within 72 hours.

5

We process, edit, and deliver

The film goes to a professional lab for processing and scanning, then Tyler edits it into a finished film. You get the film plus every minute of raw footage in 5-7 weeks.

Camera rental vs. the I Shot That kit

A standard Super 8 rental hands you a body and a lens. Here's what's actually different once you factor in everything a wedding day needs.

Common questions

Can I rent a Super 8 camera for my wedding?

Yes. We ship a loaded, ready-to-shoot Super 8 camera to your door 4-5 days before your wedding, and you send it back in a prepaid box within 72 hours after. Unlike a bare equipment rental, the film, lab processing, and editing are included in the price.

Do I need to buy or develop the film myself?

No. Two rolls of Super 8 film ship with the camera, and we send the exposed film to a professional lab for processing and scanning after you return it. You never have to source film or find a lab.

What if a guest damages the rented camera?

Normal wear from a wedding weekend is on us. If something is genuinely destroyed, that's covered by the care terms in your agreement, and we always show you the evidence first before anything is charged.

How is this different from a regular camera equipment rental?

A standard rental gets you a camera body and nothing else — you still have to buy film, find a lab, and edit the footage yourself. Our package bundles the camera, film, lab processing, and a professional edit into one price, shipped and returned for you.

Do I get the raw rental footage, or just an edited film?

Both. Every package includes the final edited film plus all of the raw digital footage, delivered together.
